On Sunday, Sept. 10th, the town of Hampton will be hosting the Hampton Fiver Miler, a family friendly race that involves the whole community of Hampton and welcomes participants from across the province and beyond.

St. Paul’s Church is right on the racecourse, and it’s been our tradition at St. Paul’s to support the Five Miler by gathering outside the church and cheering on the runners as they begin their ascent up the hill on Kennebecasis River Road.

Supporting the Five Miler and cheering on our neighbours is a lot of fun but getting to St. Paul’s on the morning of the race does take a little extra planning.

Here are 4 things to remember as you plan to worship with us next week at St.Paul’s:

• Arrive at St.Paul’s before 9am or after 10:10am
• Avoid St.Pauls Street. IT WILL BE CLOSED
• Take Viola Ave. to Kennebecasis River Rd.
• The races start at 9am and 9:30am, if you want to cheer on the runners as they pass St.Paul’s
