As a Constitutional Monarchy, with His Majesty King Charles III as our official Head of State, the Coronation on May 6th will be an historic moment in the life of our nation. And as members of the World Wide Anglican Communion, this event will also be an historic moment in the life of our church.

A few of our parishioners would have watched the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953. Fewer still were around for the previous coronation in 1936. This coronation will be a once in a lifetime event for many and we think it would be very special for us as a church family watch it together.

At the center of the coronation is a Christian service in which His Majesty will be anointed as King. It will be rooted in longstanding tradition and Christian symbolism and is an opportunity for us as followers of King Jesus to pray for Charles and others in positions of earthly authority.

Join us IN-PERSON at 7am on Sat. May 6th to view the live-stream of the coronation service together at St.Paul’s

There will be tea and scones at the beginning of the service (bring your favorite tea cup), and breakfast bake and juice to share after the service.

All are welcome, so please invite your friends and neighbours.
